hi, i’m kris. i’ve been writing since 2001. this site houses my fanfiction (and all its related fic fanart), writing advice, and in-progress fiction and non-fiction original works.

i’m a ph.d. candidate currently writing my dissertation and finishing up old fanfiction WIPs (spanning over ten years!) to clear the way for my original fiction and mainstream non-fiction (based on my dissertation research).

i created this site to store and protect my writing journeys after my tumblr (@therentyoupay) was wrongfully terminated on august 4, 2023 after eleven years of user-ship. the tumblr account has since been restored… but i not longer trust social media! it’s time to house and protect my work on a site of my own.

in a shocking (SHOCKING) turn of events, i have yet again extended snow globe, and, as it turns out, i wrote 29,134 total words within 13 days (across a span of 133 days)… including writing 11,987 of those words solely on june 6th.

i know i said in my last post (on jan. 2nd—FOUR days ago) that i was going to go back to work, but then i accidentally wrote another 15,233 words of fanfiction, so. (i mean it, this time.) back to my other passion project!!!!
